What is COB LED Strips and Why COB LED Strip?

COB, "Chip on board" abbreviation. It means that the chip is directly bound and packaged on the entire substrate, and N chips are integrated together for packaging. It is mainly used to solve the problem of low-power chips manufacturing high-power LEDs, etc., which can disperse the heat dissipation of the chips, improve light efficiency, and improve LED lights. The glare effect of COB is high; the density of COB luminous flux is high, the glare is less and the light is soft, and it emits a uniformly distributed light surface. Currently, it is widely used in LED Flexible Strip Light; COB LED Strips is a new kind of LED Strips. The LED Chips are directly on FPCB, SO no need SMT Process.

The biggest advantage of COB LED Strips is no visiable dots and hot spots when you install them anywhere, including with slim size Aluminum profile.
Second, soft light with bigger angle than normal SMD LED Flexible strips.
